OPERATION CORNFLAKES

American PSYOP mission in 1944 & 1945 that tricked the German postal service into delivering anti-Nazi propaganda.

Anti-Nazi newsletters were unwittingly delivered and stamps were subtly redesigned to show Hitler’s face as an exposed skull.

Special planes were developed to drop the mail near recently bombed mail trains.
